This cozy corner was created for women who find joy in the simple things—slow mornings at the farmers market, herbs gathered fresh from the garden, the smell of something warm baking in the oven, and the rhythm of preparing a thoughtful, nourishing meal. Whether you're cooking in a tiny apartment kitchen or hosting a backyard dinner under twinkling lights, you are welcome here.

You’ll find recipes here made with fresh, seasonal ingredients—some thoughtfully sourced from organic farms and local markets, others from my favorite everyday staples. Each dish is simple and intentional, with a personal twist inspired by the vibrant, soulful flavors of my Puerto Rican, Cuban, and Spanish heritage. They’re meals meant to spark comfort, creativity, and joy around your table—leaving you satisfied, inspired, and saying, “¡Qué delicioso!” (That’s my favorite way of saying, “How delicious!”—or simply, “Yum!”)

A little about me: I spent over a decade working in the restaurant industry, where I learned the art of flavor, timing, and soulful hospitality. Completely by accident—or should I say, God’s perfect timing—I was actually a production assistant who fell into the role of food styling—launching my own freelance brand, back in 2017, Tastylife. After many years of hard work I had the incredible honor of working on projects with National Geographic, Disney+, Slim-Fast, Sports Authority, etc. (I’ll speak more on this soon!) That season was marked by prayer—and the kind of answered prayers that remind you just how deeply God knows your heart. He showed up in ways I never could’ve imagined possible for me, proving that when we commit our dreams to Him, His plans are always higher than our own.

These days, I find my greatest joy cooking from home—whether it’s for my husband, close friends, family, or a cozy holiday gathering filled with laughter, good food, and people who cherish the beauty of simple moments—with the occasional special event sprinkled in.

This chapter of my life is all about planting seeds I never imagined possible—being married to the love of my life, living in our first dream home. And how God moved us across the country to follow my husband’s dreams, all by a leap of faith. I’ll be sharing more about this incredible journey soon.

I love the quiet of a simmering kitchen, the inspiration that comes as I sit with my Bible and pray, and the deep peace that flows from keeping God at the center of it all.
